When is it?

Session I will be held August 1 – 3, 2011
Session II will be held August 3 – 5, 2011

What if we can’t attend?

Body Image Academy is mandatory for anyone desiring to implement this program. Therefore, if you or your chapter is unable to attend BIA this academic year, you will not be able to implement the program.

What costs are involved?

The cost of Body Image Academy is $485. This includes hotel, materials, and meals. Tri Delta will cover the cost for two chapter members from selected grant chapters (link to Grants information) to attend Body Image Academy during each academic year. This includes hotel, meals and materials; these chapters will need to cover their travel costs. Tri Delta chapters who do not receive a Reflections grant may still attend BIA by paying $485, plus travel, per person.

Upon implementing the program with collegiate women, materials will be ordered through The Center. Participant workbooks cost $3 each and facilitator manuals cost $30 each.

When should I sign up?

Each session of Body Image Academy is available for a limited number of students and campus professionals. Registration will remain open for each session until it is full.

Additional Logistics

Body Image Academy is held in Arlington, Texas at the Tri Delta Executive Office. Participants will stay just down the street from our office. Participants share a double room. Arrangements for a private room are available for campus professionals only, at an adjusted registration cost.
